The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has issued a boil water advisory for the City of Olpe.

 Customers should boil water for at least one minute prior to consumption, dispose of ice cubes from trays and automatic ice makers, and disinfect dishes and food preparation surfaces.  KDHE officials issued the advisory because of a waterline break resulting in a loss of pressure in the distribution system. The advisory will be in effect until it is rescinded by the KDHE.
