Members from the Parsons Historical Society ask the city of Parsons for permission to lay memorial wreaths in an historic Parsons cemetery.

 

 A group of people from the historical society appeared before the Parsons City Commission at this week's meeting to ask permission to lay the wreaths as a part of the 2024 Wreaths Across America. Parsons Historical Society representative Johnna Gabbert says the wreaths would honor veterans.

 

Gabbert says the wreaths would serve as a fundraiser for the group while helping to beautify the city.

 

The Parsons City Commission unanimously approved the request.
