Election Day is less than two weeks away, and the early numbers in Wilson County are promising.

 

It's been four days since the Early Voting period opened in the county. County Clerk Kayla Busch says they've seen a great turnout so far.

 

The numbers have increased even more since today's meeting, with now more than 315 total votes.

 

Additional items of business at this week's commission meeting was an update from Road and Bridge Director Kary Tatum on the status of a grater undergoing maitenance, as well as a report from Sheriff Jack Lucke.

 

The commission will meet next on October 30th at 9 a.m. in the Room 101 of the County Courthouse in Fredonia.
