The Independence City Commission is set to meet for their regular meeting tonight.
The commission usually meets on Thursday nights, but tonight's meeting was moved to allow city officials and employees to attend tomorrow night's Neewollah Doodah Parade.
Tonight's meeting is expected to have a brief agenda. The meeting will begin at 4pm this afternoon in the city commission room at City Hall at 6th and Myrtle in Independence. The meeting is open to the public.
