USD 503-Parsons schools are recognized for excellence.

 

 Parsons schools are being honored for their success in educating students at a high level of excellence through the 2024 Kansas-Can, Star Recognition Program. District offcials were notified of the award this week by Kansas Commissioner of Education Dr. Randy Watson. The district was awarded a bronze star in individual plans of study and a silver star in social-emotional growth.

 

The Kansans Can Star Recognition Program is designed to support the Kansas Education Systems Accreditation process by providing a level of recognition that helps districts identify where they want to focus their improvement efforts.

 

Superintendent of Parsons Schools Lori Ray called the recognition a big accomplishment and something Parsons can be very proud of.
