Three Caney officials resign during tonight's city council meeting.

 Mayor Josh Elliott resigned, effective immediately, due to the stress level of the job and to spend more time with his family. 
 City Administrator Kelley Zellner resigned due to health concerns from a recent heart attack. His last day will be December 31st. 
 Former City Treasurer Amber Dean resigned after a work session last Wednesday. It was accepted by the council tonight. Dean cited persistent accusations and a negative environment as her reasons for leaving. 
 Council President Zach Ellison will take over the mayor's role for the time being.
