The Neosho, Missouri Police Department respond to an alleged threat at the junior high school.

 Officers say two boys took a picture of BB guns; they were later edited and posted to social media by a 12-year-old girl. Investigators say the picture was captioned with a statement that a school shooting would happen Wednesday. Police determined the picture and caption to be a hoax.

 All suspects have been identified. Charges of making a threat have been requested by NPD and sent to the Newton County Juvenile Office.
