Today will bring high chances of fire danger today, with increased chances northwest of Montgomery County.

According to the National Weather Service, Southerly winds up to 50 mph combined with low humidity will create very high to extreme fire danger this afternoon and evening. Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly and become very difficult to control. An increased risk of fire is also possible in Oklahoma, mainly northwest of I-44.
