Voters in Washington County will vote in a couple of weeks on several items, including alcohol sales.
One of the questions on the November 5th ballot concerns whether or not to extend alcohol sales on Sundays in Washington County.
Commissioner Mitch Antle says the issue was brought up during New Year's Eve last year.
Antle says, if passed, establishments like bars and restaurants would be allowed to serve drinks from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. seven days a week, instead of the exception on Sundays. He says the change would allow Washington County businesses to operate as businesses in surrounding counties.
Antle encourages all Washington County voters to let their voice be heard on November 5th.
