The Ark City High School boys basketball coach C.J. Jennings has resigned following allegations of inappropriate communications with a student.

 

 When the allegations surfaced, Jennings was placed on administrative leave by USD 470 Ark City and also by USD 465 Winfield where he was employed.

 

The Ark City School board accepted Jennings' resignation at this week's meting.

 

The Ark City Police Department says there is no current criminal investigation in the matter but they are working closely with both school districts to address the situation.
