The USD 436 focuses on the future in a set of community meetings.

 Superintendent Blake Vargas says the meetings, set for today and tomorrow, will help the district set benchmarks for the future in the district.

 Vargas says the biggest feedback he has received so far deals with student safety.

 Vargas says if possible, the storm shelter would be available for all residents in the evenings and weekends during severe weather.
