Temperatures below freezing are on the way.

The first freeze warning of the season has been issued, and will be in effect from 1 a.m. tomorrow until 9 a.m. for much of the four-state area.

Most of Kansas and Missouri in addition to northern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas are included in the freeze warning. Temperatures in Coffeyville are expected to fall to 30 degrees early tomorrow morning. Sensitive plants should be covered or brought indoors to protect them from frost.
