One position on the South Coffeyville School Board is up for election next year.

The school board general election is April 1st, 2025, and board position number five will be voted on. That seat is currently held by Mike Finney, who will seek reelection. Superintendent Daryl Pruter says there will be a special election if more than two candidates file.

Pruter says interested candidates must file the appropriate paperwork with the county. In other business, the board approved their meeting dates for next year, heard reports from school principals and toured renovation projects in the gym, weight room and locker rooms.
