Neewollah festivities get underway this week in Independence.
All the favorite Neewollah activities and events are just around the corner. Coming up in the next two weeks are the Queen talent show and coronation, the carnival midway and food trucks, live music on the bandstand, and the Tyler Farr concert on the 26th. Everything gets underway this Friday night with the first performance of the musical Elf. Independence Chamber President Lisa Wilson says this year's stars Glen Price and Tori Kreusch put on a great performance.
Tickets are still available for all three shows. Other events this weekend include the 5K Run/Walk on Saturday morning and the Chili Cook-Off and Dessert Contest at Riverside Park.
