The family of a 10-year-old Granby, MO, boy who died after being struck by a car launches a fundraiser to help in their time of need.
10-year-old Cooper DeShields was killed last Thursday when he was struck by an SUV while riding his bicycle home from an after-school program. Authorities say the boy failed to stop at a stop sign and rode into the path of the oncoming vehicle.
The accident has shaken the city of Granby and now the boy’s aunt has started a fundraising campaign to help the family in their time of need.
