Big Boy will be making an overnight stop in Coffeyville on Monday at the Union Pacific rail yard.

For those interested in see the steam locomotive, the best place to view it will be from the right-of-way off Atlantic Street. The entrances to the rail yard on 14th Street will be blocked for safety, as the rail yard is still active for regular operations.

The City says to please use caution as a lot of traffic is expected. Big Boy will arrive mid-afternoon on Monday and depart on Tuesday at 9:00 am to continue the Heartland of America Tour.
