Grand River Dam Authority officials have identified the body found Wednesday morning in Ottawa County, Oklahoma.

 

 The remains have been determined to be those of 39-year-old Harold Stroud of Tulsa. Stroud's body was discovered by two passersby in the waters of Tar Creek just northwest of the City of Miami.

 

G-R-D-A has requested the assistance of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation in the suspicious death crime scene.

 

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office and Miami Police Department are also aiding in the investigation.
