A Dewey man faces charges of assault with a dangerous weapon after he allegedly pointed a handgun at a teen.
23-year-old Timothy Mayo appeared in Washington County Court in Bartlesville Tuesday to face charges stemming from an August 31st incident in which is he accused of brandishing a handgun at a 12-year-old boy. Mayo says the teen and a friend had been harassing Mayo's brother and denies a gun was involved.
Mayo was arrested Tuesday and posted a $15,000 bond. His next court date is set for November 1st.
