Authorities in northeast Oklahoma are investigating the discovery of a body in Miami.
The remains were found north of the city of Miami yesterday near 22nd Northeast at the Tar Creek Bridge. Investigators from the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department and the Miami Police Department are looking into the case, though the Grand River Dam Authority has jurisdiction in the case. G-R-D-A has requested the assistance of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
