Roadwork continues on U.S. 166 east of Coffeyville.

The Kansas Department of Transportation is continuing a resurfacing project on 166 from the east junction of U.S. 169 at Coffeyville east for 3.3 miles to the Labette County Line. Flaggers and a pilot car are directing one-lane traffic through the work zone during daylight hours, and drivers can expect delays of 15 minutes or less. Weather permitting, the work should be finished by late October. KDOT awarded the $1.1 million construction contract to Pearson Construction of Wichita.
