The City of Sedan is currently accepting items to help victims of Hurricane Helene.

 

 The City says it has partnered with a Nebraska church in order to get much-needed items to those suffering in the aftermath of the storm. Anyone wanting to donate goods or money can drop it off at city hall in Sedan.

Items needed:

With the weather dropping it will start to get colder and they are looking for jackets (all sizes), blankets, and sleeping bags.

Hygiene kits: (these can be placed in gallon bags)

1-comb

1- 2 to 5 oz. bar of soap

1 hand towels

1 - 4oz stick of deodorant

1 - 4 oz shampoo

1 - unopened toothbrush

1 - 5 oz. toothpaste

If you would like to donate money you may do so online at any organizations of choice or drop it off at city hall. Lone Cherry Church has offered to take in monetary donations and get them to Samaritan's Purse for the Hurricane Relief.
