Residents in Independence may have noticed an odd color in the water of the fountain at Riverside Park this weekend.

 In an attempt to show their Bulldog pride, park employees attempted to dye the water orange. However, the dye wasn't as strong as they though and it turned the water yellow instead. The color should wash out on its own in a few days.
