Hundreds of history buffs and aviation enthusiasts turned out to see the traveling Rise Above Exhibit featuring the Tuskegee Airmen and Women's Reinforce Service Pilots.
That was the sound of the P51C Mustang, The Alabama Rammer Jammer that was on display at the Coffeyville Municipal Airport this weekend. The display also included local connections to the Tuskegee Airmen because there were six in Montgomery County and one from Coffeyville and there were also several WASPs from the area as well. Those who attended said it was a very interesting exhibit.
The Rise Above Exhibit was brought to Coffeyville by the Aviation Heritage Museum.
