Fall is the peak season for deer-related car crashes, so it's important to be extra careful when driving.

 Triple A Kansas' Shawn Steward says drivers should pay especially close attention when traveling in areas where deer like to hang out.

Call for help: If you hit a deer, pull over and call emergency services. In Kansas, you can call *47 (*HP) for a highway patrol dispatcher, or *582 (*KTA) for assistance on the Kansas Turnpike or 9-1-1.
