Arrest and Identification Made in Neodesha Homicide

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation, the Neodesha Police Department, and the Wilson County Sheriff's Office make quick work in the case of human remains found last week in a pasture north of Neodesha.

The skeletal remains were discovered on September 24 and have been identified as those of 39-year-old Levi Ellis of Neodesha. KBI agents and officers from NPD developed a suspect in the case and issue an arrest warrant in the case.

Yesterday, October 1, 2024, officers from the Broken Arrow Police Department arrested 56-year-old Joseph Ferraro of Neodesha at a hotel in Broken Arrow.

Ferraro was booked into the Tulsa County Jail where he awaits extradition to Kansas.
