Kansas tax revues are up for the month of September.
Governor Laura Kelly announced yesterday (Tuesday) that September tax receipts totaled $1.02 billion. That number is $8 million more than estimates. Total tax collections in the Sunflower State are up 3.2% from September 2023.
Kelly said that tax revenues align with monthly estimates and that the state remains committed to being fiscally responsible in restoring the state's financial health while providing Kansans with tax relief.
