Kansans wanting to apply to any of the state's colleges or universities can do so for free next week.
It's part of the Kansas Board of Regents Apply Free Days Program. Under the program, any Kansas resident regardless of age can apply to any of the state's seven public universities, 19 community colleges, six technical institutes, and 21 institutions that are part of the Kansas Independent College Association. Residents can apply without an application fee on October 7-9.
Application fees for certificates, associate's or bachelor's programs are waived, but not for graduate programs.
