Authorities release the identities of two pedestrians killed in a train accident in Liberal over the weekend.

 

 The Kansas Highway Patrol says 61-year-old Adam Flores was pushing 42-year-old Deanna Flores in a wheelchair when the two tried to cross the railroad tracks while the crossing arms were down and the warning signals were flashing. They were then struck by the train and killed.

 

Both victims were from Bangor, Maine.

 

The engineer and conductor of the train were not injured.
