There are some major changes coming to personnel in Montgomery County.
At yesterday's commission meeting, an executive session was held near the end of the public meeting to address personnel issues. When the commissioners returned to open session, Mike Cordray announced the action the commission would take.
Until yesterday's announcement, the position of County Financial Officer had been held by Fred Gress. The commission has also started the search for an Assistant County Administrator. Current County Administrator Jonathan Booe asks commissioners to update the job description for the new position.
The position of County Administrator was just recently established. Booe is the first to hold the position and began in his new role in July.
In other business, Brandon Beurskins with Public Works informed commissioners about a bid for tires for graders and updated them on the Buckeye project in Coffeyville.
