Fall weather and cooler temperatures in Kansas doesn't mean fishing in the area has to stop. K-State Fisheries and Aquatics Specialist Joe Gerken says as waters cool down some fish become more active.
Gerken says November and December bring the possibility of trout and ice fishing. Gerken says for those trout fishing make sure to have a trout stamp in addition to a fishing license.
