Osage County Sheriff's deputies are being credited with saving the life of a woman who was experiencing a mental health episode.
Two deputies responded to the call on August 18th and found a woman clinging to a tree and covered in blood from several self-inflicted wounds.
The deputies quickly administered first aid to the woman, using a first aid kit to staunch the bleeding from her wounds. They also administered medication to prevent a drug overdose.
Officers from the Osage Nation Police also assisted on the call.
