OHP Investigates Rock-Throwing From Turnpike Overpass

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating several incidents of individuals throwing rocks from an overpass over the Indian Nations turnpike.

Several motorists have had their windshields broken in four different incidents over the past month between mile markers 21 and 34 north of Antlers in Pushmataha County. The O-H-P has worked with the Turnpike Authority to install security cameras and have captured images of what patrol troopers say is a dark colored SUV. This is a felony and is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact the Southeast Regional communications Center at 580-924-2601.
