The outlook for corn and soybean crops continues to remain positive. USDA Meteorologist Brad Rippey says it doesn't look like the weather will get in the way of a successful growing season.
Rippey says the condition ratings for corn and soybeans are looking good. In Kansas, corn condition is rated 9% very poor, 16% poor, 30% fair, 34% good, and 11% excellent and soybean condition is rated 3% very poor, 10% poor, 28% fair, 48% good, and 11% excellent.
