Wilson County is looking for candidates to fill an opening in the County Appraiser's Office.

 

The opening is a full-time position, and will be assisting the appraiser with both field and office responsibilities. All inquiring applicants are also asked to have computer knowledge, math aptitudes, organization skills, communication skills, and problem solving techniques.

 

The position also requires a valid Kansas driver's license and may require overnight travel for training and education. If interested, submit applications to the Wilson County Appraiser's Office, 615 Madison Room 102, Fredonia KS 66736.

 

Additional items of business from this week's commission meeting is the opening of Decatur Road, following completion of road work. The commissoners also approved the purchase of two Kioti tractors from Fredonia Outdoor Equipment.

 

There will be no meeting next week due to the Memorial Day holiday. The Wilson County Commission will next convene on September 4th at 9 a.m. in Room 101 of the County Courthouse in Fredonia.
