The Independence Community College Board of Trustees approves a 2025 budget and remains revenue neutral.
At this month's Board of Trustees meeting, the published budget was approved unanimously. Board Chairperson Dr. Cynthia Sherwood calls for the vote.
Other items of business included the approval of a lease agreement for fleet vehicles. ICC President Dr. Jonathan Sahdoo also informed the board that the HVAC unit had been installed in the student union for $21,000, a figure that was nearly $50,000 lower than the original quote. Sahdoo also announced that the spring 25 graduation ceremony would be held in the ICC Fieldhouse instead of Memorial Hall.
