One person is dead and four more are injured after a weekend car accident in Collinsville.

 The accident occurred around 11:30 on Saturday night when a 16-year-old Collinsville driver in a pick up truck failed to yield at a stop sign. The vehicle collided with another pick up truck at the intersection. The juvenile driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the juvenile is being withheld for privacy reasons. The driver of the other truck – 37-year-old Trisha Lee, also of Collinsville – sustained serious injuries and was takne to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. 43-year-old Larry Lee was taken to St. John Hospital in Tulsa, also with serious injuries. An 11-year-old child and a 1-year-old child were also injured.

The accident remains under investigation.
