The Kansas Department of Revenue announces the new state standard license plate “To the Stars” is now available.

 The new plate design was chosen via online voting in December, winning 53% of the vote. The new design will be used for all new plate issuances, including replacements for any embossed plates. Kansans who were issued a plate with the old design will not be issued a new plate. However, any Kansan with the old Ad Astra design can get the new plate by transferring their registration at their local county treasurer's office.
