The First Christian Church in Nevada, MO, sustains serious damage following a weekend fire.

 Fire crews were called to the scene early Saturday morning and arrived on the scene to find the building fully engulfed in flames. A total of 70 firefighters from nine area fire departments were called to assist with the blaze.

The ATF and the Missouri State Fire Marshal's Office along with the Nevada Police Department are investigating the cause of the fire. No firefighters were injured in the incident.
