Montgomery County will canvass the vote tallies for the August 6 primary election at today's commission meeting.
The county will finalize the vote count for the election and send those official numbers on to the state for certification. Also on the schedule for today's meeting is a report on the Opioid Grant from Marci Roberts of Live Healthy Montgomery county and an update from Public Works Director Jim Wright. County Administrator Jonathan Booe will also be at the meeting to discuss approval of the Civic Clerk Program, approval of a service agreement, and a discussion of the Economic Development Incentive fund Resolution.
The meeting is open to the public and takes place today at 9am in the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence.
