Police in Lawrence seize more than 800 fentanyl pills during a traffic stop last week.

 In addition to the large number of pills, police also seized 33 pounds of methamphetamine, and nearly 1 ½ pounds of cocaine in separate incidents. Lawrence Chief of Police Rich Lockhart stated that every pill seized is a pill that could kill someone in the community.
