A Kansas man is killed in a single vehicle accident in northeast Kansas.

 20-year-old Senquay Montes was killed yesterday morning while riding as a passenger in a 2001 Ford Explorer as it traveled along US -283 near Norton. The driver of the vehicle 29-year-old Melanie Cotton lost control of the vehicle when it left the roadway. The SUV then rolled multiple times before coming to rest in the northbound lane of the highway. Melanie Cotton along with another passenger 75-year-old Betty Cotton were both injured in the accident and taken to the Norton County Hospital. All three victims are from Lenora, Kansas.
