The Fort Scott Fire Department receives a donation of new life-saving equipment.

 

 John Horn, the owner of Typhoon Bay Carwash in Fort Scott, has provided F-S-F-D with a piece of rescue equipment known as the Vikctim Drag Strap. The Vikctim Drap Strap is strong enough to pull a person out of danger in any environment. It is a wearable device to allow firefighters to pull unconscious or injured victims or firefighters out of harm's way.

 

Fort Scott Fire Chief Dave Bruner says the donation of the new piece of equipment will help them serve the community better. He adds that training will begin soon so that the device will be ready to be used in the field.
