Coffeyville Community College is bringing the best in art, music, and entertainment to town each week this fall.

 

CCC is hosting weekly performances on Tuesday evenings, in collaboration with Artists of Note. The performances will display numerous talented individuals from the world of comedy, poetry, music, and more.

 

The first performance in the series is on August 27th, and will feature songwriter, author, and composer Tom Irwin, who will present a program on "The Protest Songs of Bob Dylan." Irwin will cover how Dylan became an industry icon in the 1960s, as well as the origins, impact, and significance of his songs.

 

The performances will be held at the CCC Spencer/Rounds Theatre each Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m., and is free of charge and open to the public. Performances will continue through November 19th, with no show on September 3rd due to Labor Day.
