A 9-1-1 call to McDonald County, Missouri authorities alerts to a possible drowning on Elk River in Noel.

 Authorities say the call came around 5:00 Wednesday afternoon, reporting a 15-year old boy going underwater for an unknown amount of time. Bystanders were able to rescue and perform life saving measures on the teen. Noel Fire Dept, Noel Marshals, Freeman Ambulance, as well as McDonald County Sheriff’s Deputies and an off-duty Anderson, Missouri Police Officer responded to the scene.

 The teen was in cardiac arrest when pulled from the water.

 The teen was flown to an unknown regional hospital. His current condition is unknown.
