A two vehicle collision yesterday in Mayes County, Oklahoma, takes the life of a Sapvinaw, Oklahoma, man.
The accident occurred just before 5:00 pm., at the intersection of Indian Springs Rd and NE 455 Drive, about two miles south and west of Sapvinaw.
The crash involved a 2002 Buick Rendezvous driven by 64-year old Dean Camren of Spavinaw. Camren was airlifted but was pronounced dead mid-flight. His wife, 57-year old Darlene Camren, and a 15-year-old passenger were transported to St. John Hospital in Tulsa. Darlene is in stable condition with head and trunk injuries, while the juvenile was treated and released with minor injuries.
The cause of the collision and the 2nd driver’s condition remain under investigation.
