Several area students are finishing the summer on a high note.

 

The sheep show took place at the Inter-State Fair and Rodeo yesterday at 9 a.m., and lots of prizes were handed out.

 

For the Jr. Showmanship, Lakin Nash took 1st, followed by Daylyn Fesmire in 2nd, Ellie Dean in 3rd, Cooper Robbins in 4th and Emma Hitt in 5th.

 

Trey Newby earned reserve champion for wether dam, and Ava George was named grand champion for the same category. In senior showmanship, Izzy Lewis took 1st, followed by Ava George in 2nd, Carter Nash in 3rd, Lilly Elsworth in 4th and Darla Fesmire in 5th.

 

Finally, Lilly Elsworth was named Reserve Grand Champion Lamb, and Joel LeLacheur earned Grand Champion Market Lamb.
