The Kansas Department of Revenue reveals the state's new personalized license plate design.
Five designs were put up for public vote earlier this month and the winner is the Flint Hills Design. More than 30,000 votes were cast during online voting and the Flint Hills plate received over 56% of the vote.
The new design will be available in 2025 and those who want a personalized tag can purchase one for $45.50 when they renew their tags at their local county treasurers office. The current design will no longer be available after January 1st. Kansas who currently have a personalized tag will need to purchase as new plate during renewal to keep their personalized plate text.
