The Parsons Police Department announces a temporary closure of the department today while electrical work is done on their building.

 

 From 8am to 2pm today, the Parsons Police Department will be closed to all walk-in and lobby activities. P-P-D assures the public that officers will still be on the job and will continue to be available to assist citizens and respond to calls

 

All emergency calls will be handled by Labette County 9-1-1.

 

The work is to install a new transfer switch for the emergency generator system.
