The Independence Police Department is seeking the public's help after two instances of gunfire today.

 

Just before 7 this morning, officers responded to the 1700 block of North 10th Street for a report of two instances of gunfire. After speaking with witnesses and obtaining security footage, Officers learned that a vehicle arrived and fled the area around both times the gunfire was reported. The vehicle is blue in color and was operated by a white female, with blonde hair and wearing glasses.

 

Anyone with nearby security cameras are encouraged to check them around 6:57 a.m. this morning and report relevant information. Witnesses said the vehicle traveled North on 10th Street but may have arrived from the south. Pictures are also available in the online version of this story at kggfradio.com.
