A Coffeyville man is dead and a Caney man is injured in a crash in Nebraska.

67-year-old Donald Sewell, of Caney, was eastbound in his 1995 Electra Motorcycle on US 30 east of Sidney attempting to make a left turn. 74-year-old Bardin Kenneth Cade was behind Sewell in a 2013 Road King motorcycle. Cade hit Sewell as he made the turn.

Both riders were ejected from their motorcycles and both motorcycles were described as totaled. Cade was pronounced dead at the scene. Sewell was taken to a hospital for treatment and later released. According to accident reports, neither driver was wearing a helmet.
